;).....at this years League of United Latin American Citizens Annual League of United Latin American Citizens Council No. 1 honored six people as 2007 Outstanding Community Leaders but one in particular, though all are worthy and well deserving of this Honorable (beep beep) Award, is Dr.Morales.

I had the pleasure of sharing a meal with Ruben & Rebecca Carrizales and their son Brayan Carrizales who is also a recipient of similar life saving surgery his brother Juan Jose needed.

What the article in the titled link fails to mention and many in our community are still dumbfounded is that Driscoll Children's hospital turned away a child that Clara Driscoll specifically created and founded her Driscoll Children's Hospital Foundation to help.
The Carrizales Familia slept in the Driscoll Hospital parking lot for 4 days when an anoymous member of LULAC through the very "nature of the crime" chose to be a "Good Samaritan".

If not for Those who help and care when it is in their power this article would never have been written.
